This tattoo inspired drawing by Leicestershire Artist Lois Pedley is a great example of her exploration of art through dots and lines. Inspired by the words of Paul Klee, Lois enjoys taking her pen for a walk. In this instance, studying a rose, interjected with geometrical and flowing lines.
A note from the Artist about this piece:
If you know me you will know that I love to stipple. Dots are my favourite way to draw, and I also love tattoos. So combining the two led to this drawing. Roses are an inevitable fixture in my work, and they are a classic symbol in tattoo culture. It just makes sense.
