Leicestershire Artist, Lois Pedley, has taken the simple shape of a spiral seashell and enhanced it by shading it completely with dots. She has then added the organic form of a growing leaf line to show the earth's connection to the sea. Lois has a strong passion for being by the sea and the health benefits of this to her mental, emotional and physical well-being. However, as she lives in-land in the countryside, she uses nature here to show her deep spiritual connection to the coast.
