A note from the Artist about this piece:

Letting go is something I either thrive at, or I go through a period of mourning. In January this year (2024) I spent time away from my life and explored the Welsh coast. The sea is somewhere I always run to, am pulled to, am guided home to, whenever my soul needs feeding. Beach hopping around the Gower Peninsula, across Carmarthenshire and up through Pembrokeshire, gave me all the head space I needed at that time. A time of interlude between making decisions about my life and my career as an artist. Most of which intertwine with each other. What steps I wanted to take next, and in the future, all the time battling against the ones I knew I had to take. Those waves were times of letting go, allowing thoughts to travel through my mind, into my heart and release them out into manifestations of hope and joy. A little break in life isn’t always a bad thing, it can lead to right where you need to be.
