THROWBACK THURSDAY

THROWBACK THURSDAY

Since venturing out with my lens ball in Yorkshire last week I've been trawling through my shots from last summer in Cornwall.

Amongst them was this beauty. I got lucky with the colours in this shot as the sun and the light were perfect and the colours are so vibrant on the Cornish coast.

This was taken at one of my favourite beaches in Cornwall, Pentewan. There are loads of rocks clustered together like this along the sand, if you dare to venture out in the sea past the jelly fish and the hoards of holiday makers. It's a wonderful little slice of paradise filled with views of those Cornish blues.

So why do I venture out with these little glass balls in hand? Well, lens ball photography is a bit like marmite, some love it, some hate it. I love it. I adore shifts in perspective anyway, but sometimes it's actually really fun to turn the world on its head and see it from this view. I love challenging how I see things and I love to experiment. I haven't quite mastered the "in motion" shots I'm craving but that just means I need more time at the beach to practice 😉
